Our garden is a very special place – partly wild so we continue to encourage the wildlife and wild fruit in the hedgerows and partly developed so we can grow flowers and edible produce. There is space to play, for children and adults alike, or to relax and chill in the sun. At night, make the most of the darkness to see stars like you have never seen them before. Share space with the bats, the deer, the chickens, the hares. Enjoy our garden with us and you will find a little piece of Suffolk that you won’t want to leave!
What a beautiful place Suffolk is! Especially in the hot summer sun that we are having at the moment. Today we spent an enjoyable day in the seafront in Lowestoft- which has been under development for a while and now it’s a lovely place to while away the hours. Not to mention the gorgeous sandy beach and the very nice eateries that have sprung up. We liked the look of RockSalt, a (mainly) fish restaurant – all fresh and local – and Shish, a smart looking Meze restaurant. We didn’t eat but I noted them for another day!! We took my mum who thoroughly enjoyed her day!

One of the fun things about living here in Suffolk is the country shows. There are so many that you can find one to go to at least once a month and often more frequently than that! The next one we are going to is the Elveden Country Show – they advertise it as being ‘quintessentially English’, which seems to mean everything rural and from past times (but brought into the here and now!). There is so much to see and do around Greenacre Lodge, you will never be bored on your holiday! http://www.elvedencountryshow.co.uk/
