Our chooks are out sunning themselves on this beautiful sunny January day. The garden is a bit wet from all the winter rain but on a day like today, it really makes you want to get out there and start gardening for the Spring! Especially with all the bulbs and primroses coming up so early, because of the mild winter we have had.
We are getting ready for Christmas now at Greenacre Lodge! Here in Suffolk, fresh turkey, pork and beef is easy to find, not to mention Suffolk made cheese and pickles! There are so many farmers’ markets nearby that we can find one to go to every weekend and more. We’d like to wish everyone who has stayed at Greenacre Lodge (and those who are thinking about it for next year!) a very happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year.
Thank you to Suffolk Wildlife Trust for the information below – they have lots of information on places to go for birdwatching near to Greenacre Lodge so why not take a short break here to make the most of the fantastic birds to be seen in Suffolk all year round?
