A sunny day out.

Today we visited the most beautiful National Trust house, Oxburgh House in Norfolk. It was a lovely 40 minute drive from Greenacre Lodge through Knettishall Heath and then Thetford Forest. The house and grounds were easy to manage with both a wheelchair and pushchair. It was a great day out in the sun!

May half term

We promise never to charge more for school holidays so if you haven’t booked for May half term, why don’t you check out Greenacre Lodge? We are fully family friendly and there’s so much for all ages to do near us, you won’t have a bored moment! Www.greenacrelodge.co.uk

Painter?

Why not come to Greenacre Lodge, sit in the sun on the garden deck and while away a few hours painting? There’s lots of inspiration here! I’m half way through the first in a series of close ups – focusing on the eyes. I’m very much a beginner but it’s a great way to spend some time relaxing. Happy Easter…

From Greenacre Lodge! We’ve had a super family weekend here at the Lodge, with beautiful sunny weather interspersed with torrential rain. Fortunately the Easter egg hunt fitted in between the showers! We are taking bookings now for May and June – we never charge more for school holidays so why not make the most of that at half term? Check availability and prices on our website www.greenacrelodge.co.uk

A great day out!

Why not visit Nowton Park at Bury St Edmunds whilst you are staying at Greenacre Lodge? It’s a great day out for everyone – gardeners, cyclists, walkers, children and more!  It’s free apart from a small parking charge.

Walkers are welcome!

So many walks around here and throughout the Waveney Valley. Some say it is what brings Suffolk and Norfolk together! Market towns, sites of special interest, wildlife, walks, fens, broads – take a look, you will be amazed!

Visit the Waveney Valley!

There’s so much to do in the beautiful Waveney Valley – you could stay for a month and only just scratch the surface. Greenacre Lodge is situated just at the start of the Valley so couldn’t be a better place to start!

And from the vegetable patch…

…we bring you ongoing curly kale, leeks, carrots, beetroot and sprouts.

The big flower bed is coloured with tones of the earth just to remind us of where we have come from but it won’t be long till the bulbs are giving us Spring colour!
